SiMON C Digital Video Recorder System

SiMON C is a PC-based digital video recorder system that records images at 30 frames per second from cameras located around the vessel. The system provides high-resolution full-motion broadcast-quality imaging for real-time monitoring or playback. SiMON C is easy to install, operate, maintain and is fully compatible with SiMON or other PC-based networks onboard, using existing cabling, routers, switches and hubs.

You can monitor and control all cameras, including pan, tilt and zoom functions, from any enabled PC with an onscreen virtual joystick function. SiMON uses state-of-the-art digital cameras, which include built-in software-driven motion detection, offering far superior intruder detection. Specific areas of the camera’s view can be targeted for motion detection, eliminating false alarms. Images are recorded only as camera frames actually change, avoiding the redundant recording of camera frames that have not changed for optimum storage capacity.

When Internet enabled, you can control the cameras and even view real-time images when away from the yacht through a secure Internet portal. SiMON C can be interfaced to our SiMON system, along with our more extensive custom yacht security systems, such as under deck motion detection, Biometric access control, etc.
