Alarm Screens

Current Alarms

SiMON constantly analyzes inputs from sensors thousands of times each second, watching for abnormal conditions. If SiMON receives data that deviates from the presets or is irregular when compared to normal conditions, visual and audible alarms are triggered at workstations on the bridge, in the captain’s and engineer’s cabins, in the owner’s cabin and other strategic locations around the vessel. SiMON can also immediately auto call or page the captain, owner or other designated individual, so that immediate action can be taken to correct the cause of the alarm.

All Alarms

SiMON provides four user-definable alarm levels – high caution, high critical, low caution and low critical. SiMON constantly compares sensor data against the alarm limit set points. Once a condition exists that warrants early warning, it triggers a cautionary visual and audible alarm. SiMON automatically records alarm data for playback and analysis. Alarm histories are maintained, recording the date, time and position coordinates (if interfaced to GPS) of critical events.
